Identification:  The body and rhinophores of this species are translucent-white with sky blue patches in front of and behind the rhinophores. A transverse band of yellow crosses the front patch and there are scattered yellow patches on the back patch. The cerata are translucent with scattered gold flecks and the greenish-black digestive gland gives the animal an overall dark color. Just below the white tip in each ceras are irregular bands of gold and bright blue. Natural history:  The one known Cuthona sp. #20 was found on a dark green hydroid (possibly Lytocarpia niger) at 21 m, and is presumed to feed on that hydroid.
