Identification:
This is a flattened, smooth, dusky pink species with a violet marginal
line. The rhinophores are pink with white tips and the branchia are
decorated with white and gray.
Natural history:
Unidentified
sp. #14 is known from one animal dredged from about 100 m
(328 ft).
Distribution:
Oahu.
Taxonomic notes:
Since
no specimen was collected, it's uncertain whether this is a Dendrodoris or an Aphelodoris. It was first recorded
in Hawaii from off Hale'iwa Trench, Oahu by Terry
Gosliner.
