Goniodoridella sp. #1

Maximum size: 3.2 mm.
Identification:
This
is a cream animal speckled with brown on the sides and front of
its
notum. The rhinophores are simple and their bases are surrounded by a
low shelf. There are two large, lumpy extra-branchial processes but no
obvious branchia.
Natural history:
Goniodoridella sp.
#1 is a rare species known from four animals found in moderately
exposed to exposed rocky habitats at depths of 2-9 m (6-30 ft).
Distribution:
Maui and Oahu.

First
recorded in Hawaii by Terry Gosliner.
