Okenia sp. #3

Identification:
This
is a brown animal with white reticulation.
There are long slender processes on the notum and the rhinophores have
many cup-shaped lamellae on their posterior faces. The brown background
is lighter on the central notum.
Natural history:
Okenia sp. #3 is known from a single animal found on sand at 17 m (55 ft).
Distribution: Big Island: may also be known from the Marquesas.
Taxonomic notes: It was first found in Hawaii at Garden Eel Cove, Big Island by Allison Gordon on Feb. 24, 2022. It's similar to "Okenia sp. 5" in Gosliner, et. al. (2018).
