Bullinidae
The family Bullinidae includes acteonoideans with strongly inflated, well calcified shells and low spires. Parapodia are present but the animals can withdraw completely into their shells and posses an operculum. They are nocturnal and feed on polychaete worms. At least four species are known from Hawaii in one genus (Bullina).
