Identification:  This species is similar to Cavolinia globulosa but is less strongly inflated. Natural history:  We haven't found any shells in sand samples. Distribution:  Van der Spoel, 1967 includes Hawaii in its range and there are shells in the collection of the Bishop Museum: circumglobal.
