Maximum size: 1.25 mm shell length.
Identification:
This is a tiny, cylindrical species with a transparent shell. White
bands of variable width on a black ground show through shell. The
body and
foot are translucent-orange, with olive flecks, and there are bright
orange bands on the upper surfaces of the head and cephalic tentacles.
The eyes are bright red.
Natural history:
Unidentified Cysticid #1 is a moderately rare species found in rocky
habitats at moderately exposed to highly exposed sites as well as in Halimeda kanaloana beds.
