shell of this species is translucent-amber. It's
with well developed sculpture.
Shells of Diacria schmidti are
moderately common in sand samples.
Niihau and French Frigate Shoals: widespread
in the Indo-Pacific.
Hawaiian shells seem to have stronger sculpture than
most populations and are somewhat smaller, on
composite photo, 2 shells; 2.4 mm: from a sand
sample provided by Mike
