Monotygma(?) sp. #1: shell
Maximum size:  1.7 mm shell length.

Identification:  The shell of this species is conical with prominent, punctate spiral striae. Some have faint, white axial streaks.

Natural history:  Shells of Monotygma(?) sp. #1 are rare in beach drift but more common in subtidal sand samples.

Distribution:  Maui.
