Limapontiidae
The family Limapontiidae (referred to as Stiligeridae in some sources) includes shell-less species that usually have prominent cerata containing branches of the digestive gland. Most have rolled rhinophores distinguishing them from the similar-appearing aeolid nudibranchs. They feed on green algae with the exception of a few that specialize in eating the eggs of other opisthobranchs. Most are diurnal, though seldom seen due to their small size. Some authors place the genus Costasiella in a separate family, the Costasiellidae. At least 22 species are found in Hawaii in five genera (Costasiella, Ercolania, Placida, Sacoproteus and Stiliger).
