The family Aeolidiidae
includes relatively large species, most of which feed on sea anemones.
Most are diurnal and some retain zooxanthellae and/or nematocysts.
There are at least 14 species in Hawaii in eight genera (Aeolidiella, Aeolidiopsis, Baeolidia, Berghia, Cerberilla, Protaeolidia and Spurilla).
Unidentified
aeolid #3 may also be in this family.
